The project aims to preserve the unique character of Uptown, and nurture "neighbourly" connections - a cherished value found with in the community. Following a people focused approach, The Verge strives to improve the quality of life experienced by bringing the people of Uptown and Tāmaki Makaurau together. 

This project shows us a way of imagining diverse spaces that not only improve the quality of living for inhabitants, but also improve the health of the local and greater environment through choices that aim to regenerate our ecosystems rather than sustain them. 

This project seeks to establish a sustainable and adaptable community hub that encourages innovation, fosters a connection with nature, and promotes social interaction. 

By incorporating sustainable materials, flexible design, and communal spaces, the project aims to inspire a new generation and enhance the well-being of Uptown's residents.
